Quaresma Shines In Inter Comeback

Today new Inter recruit Ricardo Quaresma made his debut for the Nerazzurri and, although the same cannot be said about the team's performance in the friendly against Locarno, he did not disappoint. The two goals that allowed the Italian champions to come back from 2-0 down against the Swiss second division team were created by the Portuguese winger.

He gave the assist for defender Ivan Cordoba's first goal and inspired the move that led to the penalty converted by Julio Cruz. Quaresma made himself dangerous frequently with unpredictable moves, skillful plays, and his trademark trivela shot.

Aside from Cordoba, also Patrick Vieira, Walter Samuel, and Olivier Dacourt all made their return on the pitch after a long injury lay-off. Jose Mourinho can be satisfied about these players' progress and he will hope to have them all back soon.
