Mancini Wants Premiership Job, But Not Now – Agent

Mancini is currently unemployed after he was sacked as coach of Inter at the end of May, despite leading the club to three consecutive Scudetti.

The former Lazio tactician has already stated that his next job will be abroad, and over the past 24 hours he has been consistently linked with the vacancies at West Ham and Newcastle.

Mancini is the favourite with some English bookmakers to take over at West Ham, while some sections of the Italian media claim that it is Mancini’s dream to oust Mark Hughes and become Manchester City manager.

The coach’s agent admits that his client wants to manage in the Premiership, but says first he must sort out his legal payoff from former team Inter.

“Roberto won't talk to any other club before he sorts out his contract situation with Inter because that's the way he works,” Giorgio De Giorgis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“But Mancini really likes England and London in particular - that is something that he has never denied.”
