Dino: Juve On For Scudetto, Z-off The Champions League

The Old Lady didn’t get their Serie A campaign off to a flyer on Sunday against Fiorentina as they could only draw 1-1.

Nevertheless Zoff believes his old side have what it takes to go all the way in Serie A but he has his doubts for the Champions League.

“I think the team has been completed with the arrivals of Amauri and Christian Poulsen and I think they can win the Scudetto,” said Zoff.

“I think Claudio Ranieri is doing an excellent job there and he knows what he is doing.

“The Champions League isn’t beyond them but it will be difficult for the Old Lady but you never know.”

The club have been focussing all their attentions on success in Europe following their return to continental football.

Club president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli recently stated that the Champions League is their number one objective and the team will have a massive mountain to climb if they are to reach the Rome 2009 final.
