Jansen Disappointed By Klinsmann

The German international completed an eye-catching move to Bundelsliga rivals Hamburger SV yesterday, which caught even the most plugged-in local correspondents off guard."On Wednesday morning, I had a final talk with our coach Jürgen Klinsmann," revealed the 22-year-old to the German Federation's official website. "His assessment of my perspective and status with Bayern was just one more reason for my decision to move to Hamburg. "Contacts with the HSV have been ongoing for quite some time."Jansen made 17 Bundesliga appearances for the record German champions during his first and only season there. He had made the move last summer, after catching the eye for his local club Borussia Mönchengladbach. He was also a member of the Germany squad which came second at EURO 2008 and third at the 2006 World Cup.
