The only real worry at the back is goalkeeper Antonio Mirante. After a shaky start to pre-season, a terrible slip-up in the game against Sporting Lisbon has eaten into the player's confidence. However, the rest of the front-line has not impressed as much as 'Il Talentino'. Poacher Emiliano Bonazzoli may be asked to play out of position, and not for the first time. Uruguayan recruite Bruno Fornaroli has also struggled since his arrival, complaining of muscular pain and only featuring for short periods of the pre-season matches. All in all, the Blucerchiati have a team that could surprise a few of the top teams and impress on the European stage this season.
