Spalletti: No Difference Between Roma & Inter

The Giallorossi twice fought back from behind at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night to force a 2-2 draw, but it was Inter who eventually prevailed in a thrilling penalty shootout."I did not see any difference between Roma and Inter," said Spalletti, as Roma resumed training at Trigoria today."While we did not win, we leave with our heads held high because we managed to turn around a difficult situation.“I saw two great teams on the field with a good mentality.”Things could have ended so differently for Roma however, as captain and substitute Francesco Totti, just recovered from a long-term injury, missed his side’s fifth penalty which would have clinched victory.Brazilian defender Juan would then go on to have his spot-kick saved, thus allowing Javier Zanetti to win the cup for Inter.Spalletti though refuses to lay any blame at his skipper’s door, stating: “Totti? It is too soon at the moment. I could not have asked any more from him.”Roma kick off the new Serie A season at home against Napoli this weekend.
