I Would Never Have Signed Sheva - Costacurta

Sheva returned back to the scene where he enjoyed most of his successful playing career this week after a turbulent passage from Chelsea.Fans and players were delighted upon hearing the news but it has not gone down with Costacurta, who made 458 appearances for the Rossoneri between 1987 and 2007.“Sheva? I wouldn’t have signed him for Milan,” Costacurta told Sky Sport Italia.“There are two important strikers there like Pato and Borriello and he (Sheva) could create some turbulence.“No, if it was down to me I would not have resigned him at all.”Many will agree with the former stopper. The Ukrainian hit-man seems past his best days, and having won everything with Milan in, he may find it difficult to motivate himself. The deal with Chelsea came down to a tug of war but it was the Italian side who triumphed when push came to shuv as Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani began waving their fists.
