Casiraghi Loses Acquafresca & Pisano

The Azzurrini face Greece on September 5 before travelling to Croatia on September 9 in their Euro 2009 qualification campaign.

However, Cagliari duo Acquafresca and Pisano have both been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury.

In their place, Casiraghi has called Catania hitman Michele Paolucci and Atalanta defender Daniele Capelli.

The biggest talking point in the squad Casiraghi named last week was the inclusion of Inter wonderkid Balotelli, who is now eligible to represent his country having become an Italian citizen last month when he turned 18.

The Azzurrini are currently flying at the top of Group 1, four points clear of Croatia, after winning seven and drawing one of their eight games.
