Vieira To Return To Iraq

The Brazilian boss stepped down after leading the team to the 2007 Asian Cup title.

Former Norway boss Egil Olsen succeeded the 55 year-old but was fired after just three games in charge.

Adnan Hamad was drafted in to steer the team through World Cup qualification but the campaign ended in despair after a 1-0 loss in Qatar left the team in third place in their group.

Vieira went on to take the reins at Iranian club Sepahan, losing the title on the last day of the season and was fired in June.
