Sergio García Signs Five-Year Deal
After failing to complete the capture of Nery Castillo from Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Betis pulled off a last minute coup on Monday night by snatching Sergio García from Real Zaragoza.
The 25 year old arrived in Seville yesterday to complete the necessary medical examinations, before being ushered into the offices of club owner, Manuel Ruiz de Lopera where he signed his contract that will see him remain a Bético for the next five seasons.
The finer details of the deal are unknown while the club has only revealed that they paid over €10 million to acquire his services.
Sergio García will meet up with his new teammates on Wednesday and begin training immediately for the first time under coach, Paco Chaparro.
