Report: Ancelotti To Roma, Spalletti To Juventus

Ancelotti took over the reigns at Milan way back in 2001, and has had a highly successful seven years in charge, winning a Scudetto, two Champions Leagues, a Coppa Italia, and an Intercontinental Cup, among other trophies.

However, over the past 12 months or so, many people believe things have started to become a bit stale at San Siro, and indeed it was expected that Ancelotti would leave at the end of last season.

Carletto ended up staying on, but Tuttosport believes it inevitable that he will choose to depart at the end of the current campaign, regardless of how well Milan do.

Ancelotti wants a change of environment, and a new challenge, and it is very possible that he will take over at his beloved Roma, the club he graced for eight years as a player, winning the Scudetto and four Coppa Italia’s.

Ancelotti’s move to the Eternal City would then see current Giallorosso boss Luciano Spalletti replace present Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri in Turin.

Spalletti has long been admired by the Juve hierarchy, who have a few doubts over the winning credentials of Ranieri, who blundered during the 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Sunday, bizarrely taking off a midfielder for an attacker in the last minute, only to then see the Viola equalise seconds later.

Another alternative for Ancelotti is the Chelsea job, which he rejected a few months ago. If Luiz Felipe Scolari fails to win the Premiership or Champions League this season, Ancelotti may be approached once again.
