No Crespo, Dacourt, Samuel In Inter CL Squad

Hernan Crespo has a chequered history with Jose Mourinho when the two were at Chelsea and now finds himself out of favour as the two have reunited at Inter, as he has not made the squad for the upcoming Champions League group stage campaign.

The Argentine hit-man was thought to be on his way out of San Siro this summer to the likes of Sampdoria or Palermo, but opted to stay on with the Nerazzurri.

Olivier Dacourt and Nelson Rivas have also failed to make the cut, as well as injury-stricken stopper Walter Samuel.

Mourinho will of course have the opportunity to modify his squad selection should the Milanese giants make it to the knockout stage of the competition.

Youngster Mario Balotelli and new recruit Ricardo Quaresma have both made the squad, among many of the other usual suspects.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, Julio Cesar 12, 22 Paolo Orlandoni;

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 23 Marco Materazzi, 26 Cristian Chivu, 37 Andrea Mei, 9 David Santon;
