Eredivisie sides will receive a further 24 hours to deal in the transfer market as the deadline is extended until September 1.
The Dutch have fallen into line with a number of other European authorities to grant the extension as the original closing date of August 31 falls on a Sunday.
Spain, Italy and England have also granted an extra day for the first transfer window of the season.
The extra time maybe crucial as some big-name moves remain on the cards in Holland with Klass Jan Huntelaar still being heavily tipped for a move to Real Madrid from Ajax.
