Leeds make the trip south to face Russell Slade's Yeovil at Huish Park, while Scunthorpe take on Peterborough.
Leyton Orient v Carlisle
Carlisle newboy Richard Keogh will be thrust straight into The Cumbrians' squad to face Leyton Orient – just days after signing from Bristol City.
The 22-year-old made the switch to Brunton Park on Thursday for an undisclosed fee and will replace injured defender Josh Gowling, who has been sidelined for three weeks with a broken nose.
The League One leaders will be hoping Keogh can guide them to their third straight win at Brisbane Road after victories against Crewe and Bristol Rovers.
Meanwhile, The O’s – who have not won since the opening day of the season – may be without defender Tamika Mkandawire after a recurrence of a hernia problem.
Oldham v Cheltenham
Oldham boss John Sheridan is likely to name an unchanged side against Cheltenham at Boundary Park as The Latics also look to maintain their 100 per cent record.
Sheridan’s troops stunned Leeds last weekend when Chris Taylor struck twice to guide them to a 2-0 win at Elland Road – just days after seeing off Rochdale on penalties in the Carling Cup.
Cheltenham continue to bring in former players in an attempt to maintain their positive League One start – this time Charlton midfielder Dean Sinclair has put pen to paper.
The 23-year-old joins Barry Hayles and Jennison Myrie-Williams at Whaddon Road as The Robins look to build on last weekend’s win over Swindon.
Yeovil v Leeds
Leeds boss Gary McAllister has handed a trial to Dutch winger Kiran Bechan ahead of their clash with Yeovil at Huish Park.
Bechan began his career at Ajax before signing for Spanish outfit Hercules and spending time with Caledonian Thistle earlier this month.
United were dealt a blow last weekend when they slumped to a 2-0 loss to Oldham while Yeovil are set to line up without midfielder Darren Way.
The 28-year-old limped off holding his hamstring in the 2-1 win over Hereford and will join former Millwall midfielder Marc Bircham on the sidelines.
Crewe v Walsall
Crewe boss Steve Holland has dipped into the non-League transfer market in an attempt to get The Alex’s League One campaign off the ground.
Holland’s troops sit rock bottom after heavy defeats against Carlisle and Brighton but will be hoping Curzon Ashton defender Scott McManus can cure their leaky defence.
Walsall striker Michael Ricketts sits out his second game of a three-match ban at Gresty Road after being sent off against Darlington in the Carling Cup.
Former Leyton Orient striker Jabo Ibhere will continue to partner Alex Nicholls up front and Welsh defender Stephen Roberts should start after overcoming a calf injury.
Scunthorpe v Peterborough
Peterborough trio Jamie Day, Shane Blackett and Tom Williams are all vying for places against Scunthorpe as The Posh look to secure back-to-back victories.
Darren Ferguson’s troops recorded their first League One victory last weekend, thumping Leyton Orient 3-0 and will have to choose from Day, Blackett and Williams at left-back.
Scunthorpe’s return to League One has been far from ideal with The Iron failing to register a point from their opening two games.
Birmingham defender Krystian Pearce has been drafted in at Glanford Park on a month’s loan and should make his debut in place of the suspended David Mirfin.
Bristol Rovers v Hereford
Hereford boss Graham Turner could turn to 19-year-old defender Garry Breen to resurrect the Bulls as they search to end their pointless run at Bristol Rovers.
Former Manchester City centre-half Breen is yet to make his Hereford debut but could be called upon after an impressive midweek outing for the Republic of Ireland under-21s.
Rovers duo David Pipe and Andy Williams are both vying for places at The Memorial Stadium after shrugging off minor ankle injuries.
Paul Trollope’s troops have yet to record a win this season and are still without defensive duo Ryan Green and Danny Coles.
Huddersfield v MK Dons
Huddersfield boss Stan Ternent took his tally of new-signings to ten this season ahead of the clash against MK Dons – recruiting Derby striker Liam Dickinson on a month’s loan.
Ternent – who took charge at The Galpharm Stadium at the end of last season – started a busy week in the transfer market by signing Accrington midfielder Ian Craney for an undisclosed six figure fee.
Both Dickinson and Craney look set to start against The Dons as Ternent’s Terriers bid for their first win of the season.
Roberto Di Matteo’s bagged his first League One win of the season over Northampton last weekend and has added FC Metz defender Flavien Belson to his ranks on a season long loan.
Leicester v Tranmere
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has off-loaded goalkeeper Conrad Logan to League Two strugglers Luton ahead of their clash with Tranmere at The Walker’s Stadium.
The 22-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Pearson with Paul Henderson and on-loan stopper David Martin both battling it out for a place between the sticks.
Tranmere – who bagged their first win of the season against Hartlepool last weekend – could be without striker Ian Moore after he was struck down with a virus.
Swindon v Colchester
Colchester boss Geraint Williams faces a selection headache with Jamie Vincent, Barry Corr and Mark Marshall all returning to fitness in time for the trip to Swindon.
The U’s failed to secure their first win at their new stadium last weekend after a goalless draw with Huddersfield and could give striker Lea Peacock his debut in the search for goals.
The Robins have Pat Kanyuka, Kevin Amankwaah, Jerel Ifil and Craig Easton all pushing for recalls after last weekend's defeat against Cheltenham.
Northampton v Millwall
Northampton will be hoping for a second win against Millwall already this season but could be without five first team players for the clash at Sixfields.
Former Lions striker Adebayo Akinfenwa heads up the list of Cobblers casualties with Danny Jackman, Giles Coke, Colin Larkin and Andy Holt all a doubt.
Millwall defender Marcus Bignot is in with a shout of a recall after a recovering from a knee injury as The Lions search for their elusive first win.
Hartlepool v Stockport
Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson may hand Michael Mackay at starting berth against winless Stockport after an impressive midweek spell with the reserves.
The 25-year-old bagged a double as The Pools saw odd Barnsley 4-0 while Matty McNeil could make his first start for Stockport since joining from Macclesfield.
The 32-year-old has been forced to sit and watch The Hatters season openers against Leicester and Huddersfield but looks set for his debut after returning from suspension.
