Inter have been attempting to sign the former Barcelona winger all summer, but with a week to go until the end of the transfer window, it seems as if they are closing in on their man.The Corriere dello Sport claims that Quaresma’s determination to leave Porto is causing unrest within the club and is having a detrimental effect on the team.Porto are now said to be desperate to sell their star player, and negotiations will be sought with Inter in the coming hours to try and thrash out a deal.Inter President Massimo Moratti admitted yesterday that the club wants to sign Quaresma, but said that players would have to be offloaded first.“He did ask directors Marco Branca and Lele Oriali for him, yes,” revealed the oil tycoon.“The lad would certainly be useful for our style of play, but Mourinho knows full well that we cannot sign Quaresma until we sell someone else.”Mourinho also added himself about Quaresma that "with him we would have more balance”, and so it seems that a move at some point this week is very possible. However, there is also interest from both Liverpool and Real Madrid, even if the chances of a transfer to the Spanish giants is unlikely.
