Tottenham in late bid for AC Milan striker Borriello
The arrival of Andriy Shevchenko has left Marco Borriello even lower down the pecking order at AC Milan, and Juande Ramos has become aware of his availability. The Italian sports paper Corriere dello Sport says that Spurs have put in a late bid for the exciting striker, who burst onto the scene last season scoring 19 goals for Genoa, and finishing third top scorer in Serie A.They say that it is possible that Spurs could buy him this week, depending on how their other targets pan out, but they say he will definitely be at White Hart Lane by January.
