Mourinho Offers Sheva Special Luck

On Saturday it was announced that Shevchenko was rejoining Milan, just two years after he had left the club to join Chelsea for a whopping €45m.
The forward’s time at Stamford Bridge has been nothing short of disastrous, and he will surely go down as one of the most expensive flops in Premiership history.
Mourinho coached Sheva for over a year at Chelsea, and although the pair are said to have never really seen eye-to-eye, the ‘Special One’ has sent his best wishes to his old pupil following his return to Serie A.
"At Chelsea he certainly wasn't happy during two seasons and with three different coaches in charge,” Mourinho told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Someone like him, who returns home, does so with a lot of motivation.
"I can't say I wish great things for him because Milan is a rival, but let's say I hope he becomes champion of the UEFA Cup."
Shevchenko scored a stunning 127 goals in just 208 games during his first spell at Milan from 1999 to 2006, winning a host of honours, including a Scudetto and two Champions League titles. He was also named European Footballer of the Year in 2004.
