On Tuesday Juventus are travelling to Bratislava for their second leg Champions League preliminary match against Artmedia, but due to the 4-0 result in the first leg, it is only a formality for the Bianconeri. And so they are already thinking ahead to their opening Serie A match against Fiorentina, who are surely one of the strongest teams in Serie A.Coach Claudio Ranieri will have to do without the suspended Mohamed Sissoko, but he doesn't seem too worried about that.
"I've tried Marchisio and Poulsen together and I'm satisfied, they could be the two who play in midfield in Florence," he said to 'La Stampa'.
Asked about how he felt about the Scudetto race, the coach said: "I will take the final standings of last year as a reference: so I say Inter, Roma, Juve, and Fiorentina are the favorites, in that order. With the addition of Milan, of course."
