Ryan Giggs has trained his sights on adding a couple of records to his already glittering CV.
The Welsh wing wizard has been a driving force for Manchester United for over 15 years and has winners medals from virtually every major club competition.
Giggs is likely to be used sparingly by Sir Alex Ferguson in a bid to keep him fresh, but the 34-year-old is not prepared to go through the motions over the next couple of seasons.
“I don’t look at personal records but I do look at winning things which have never been done before,” Giggs told The Sun.
“No one had won three Premier League titles on the run and we did that. But four hasn’t. And no one has ever retained the Champions League - those are the targets this season, that’s the challenge.
“We certainly have the potential to do three and then four. It’s all about whether you have the hunger and desire, because we’ve proved we have the quality.
“We have a squad in place which can go on and dominate football. There are good teams out there like Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal - as well as in Europe - so it won’t be easy. But we can do it.”
