Everton sign Danish international defender

Everton fans will be delighted to hear that David Moyes has made his first signing of the summer. The Danish international Lars Christian Jacobsen was released by Nurnberg at the end of last season when they were relegated from the Bundesliga.The 28 year-old has signed a one-year deal and will complete on Tuesday morning subject to a medical.Jacobsen has been a regular for Denmark for the last two years, but only played seven games for Nurnberg last season.He has wide experience though, including in the Champions League, in his time with Odense, Hamburg and Copenhagen. He will be a good signing for anyone, but missed much of last season through injury, but if he stays fit he will be an asset to the team.
