The 18-year-old forward moved to Parma in a co-ownership deal from Milan yesterday and believes that the move is for the good of his career. "At Milan, there was not much room for me. In Parma I will have the chance to play and grow," explained the young Italian. Milan had stated earlier in the summer they would not be releasing Paloschi after offers from both Reggina and Torino. However, the recent return of Andrei Shevchenko to Milan clearly seems to have changed that situation. "It (Parma) could be an important launching pad for me. If we were to gain promotion I could stay here longer," hypothesised Paloschi, who is famous for scoring the winning goal with his first touch on his Serie A debut against Siena last term. "To play alongside Cristiano Lucarelli excites me," continued the Italy U-19 international. Certainly, veteran striker Lucarelli could help Paloschi develop and the duo are expected to be one of the best partnerships in Serie B next season. On the whole all parties are pleased with the situation, as Paloschi will gain more playing time, Milan trim down their large squad, and Parma acquire a young talent to help them on their mission of returning to Serie A.
